Ebony clashes with TTU students; refuses to perform

There were about 300 cuss words, thousand heartbreaks and definitely a relationship ruined forever when Ebony Reigns stormed out on students and organizers of the TTU-GNUPS Excellence Awards.

And so Ebony Reigns will definitely not be performing again at the Takoradi Technical University (TTU) in the foreseeable future after differences over a contract agreement erupted into a war of words in the late hours of Saturday.

The dancehall bad girl is said to have snapped when a number of irate TTU students and displeased organizers stormed her lodgment at the Amadja Hotel to compel her to honor her end of an agreement.

Ms Reigns was billed to perform at a student event at the TTU auditorium on Saturday, 20th May 2017, but withdrew in protest at the apparently poor hospitality she and her entourage had been subjected to- particularly failure to provide them food and water.

Ebony, who had earlier received a fraction of her appearance fee eventually refused to perform or accept the remainder in objection to the lack of reverence and professionalism exhibited by the organizers (even though she had travelled for the event).

All efforts by hotel residents and the repentant organizers to compel her to rescind her decision proved futile as she abandoned the event and drove back to party at industry mate Feli Nuna’s birthday bash in the capital, Accra.
