The alarming rate of domestic violence in Ghana has prodded some Ghanaian celebrities to embark on a campaign to help reduce it.
Some cast members of the movie, ‘Shattered Lives,’ including Shatta Wale, Majid Michel, Bisa Kdei, Martha Ankomah and BismarkTheJoke have, have shot a short video that cautions people against violent behaviours at home.
At least 17,655 cases of domestic violence were reported to Domestic Violence & Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) in 2014, a situation that doesn’t bode well for the society.

It is therefore important that the campaign by these celebrities is given the necessary support.

The project which will be officially released in September, is produced by ghanaprovisions.com.
